Hi Toddler Parents,
Welcome to the Toddler Program Blog at Northern Voices! This site will be managed by the toddler team, which includes: Susan Wong, Dani Engum, Jan Sutton, Jackie Shaver and Erika King. We will be posting updates on our program throughout the year.
Today we started the Earth Conservation theme. We've started talking about recycling (vs throwing in the garbage), the weather, and nature. We plan to go on nature walks and talk about the trees and the leaves. We'll work on vocabulary related to the theme, including the different kinds of animals that live in the forest. As October 31st creeps nearer, we will introduce Halloween vocabulary, including: pumpkin, jackolantern, ghost, and witch.
